Recruitment Privacy Notice
What we collect
Only what we need to evaluate your application: name, email, phone, general city and state, the role you're applying for, your experience, skills, availability, optional professional credentials and PTIN status (not the number) for tax roles, an optional resume, and an optional portfolio or LinkedIn link. Tax Partner inquiries may also include an optional business name, EFIN status (not the number), experience, and the partnership model of interest.
What we do not collect at this stage
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, home street addresses, banking details, EFIN numbers, or copies of government IDs. Please do not include them in your answers or resume.
How it is used and protected
Your information is used only for recruitment and partnership evaluation and to contact you about your application. It is stored in a secured system accessible only to authorized MPG recruiting administrators. Resumes are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived, access-controlled links. Your information is not sold and is not shared with third-party systems without MPG's approval.
Private candidate portal and profile
The candidate portal displays your application status, status history and messages intended for you. Its private profile lets you update your name, phone, city and state and replace your resume for that application. Changes are visible to authorized MPG recruiting administrators and recorded in application history without copying contact details into the history. A new email address requires verification before it replaces your current address; confirmation revokes previous application access links. Access requires a private link emailed to the application address; links expire after 24 hours. Keep these links private and sign out on shared devices. Internal recruiting notes and other applicants' information are never displayed. Resume files remain private. Status changes and candidate messages can trigger application update emails. Access-request connection hashes are retained briefly to limit abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored for this purpose.
Optional AI wording suggestions
If you choose "Suggest wording" on the application form, your PDF resume and the selected opening are sent to an AI service to generate suggestions shown only to you. The suggestions and the resume used for them are not saved by this portal and are not part of your application unless you submit it. Using this tool is optional and does not affect how your application is reviewed.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is optional and does not load until you accept analytics cookies. It counts visits to public pages and successful applications by job slug only. Google receives technical information such as device type and approximate location; analytics cookies may remain for up to two years. We do not send applicant names, email addresses, phone numbers, resumes, application answers, authentication tokens, URL query strings or fragments. Analytics does not load on administrator, candidate portal, sign-in or other private pages. Advertising features are disabled. Choose Decline analytics to continue without tracking, or use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any public page to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already received by Google. Global Privacy Control is honored as a refusal. Essential sign-in and portal cookies are separate and remain available when analytics is declined.
Retention

Your choices
